Job Title: Senior Informatica Developer

Location: Virginia (Remote)

Duration: 2 Months

Pay Rate: 70 - 74$/hr on C2C/1099

Job Description:

Client is looking for Sr level Informatica Developer to perform General IT Analysis, Design, Development and Project Support under the direction of Client Taxation management.

Support COBOL - Informatica conversion project. Extract data and generate Reports to internal or external

customer. Support daily ETL moving data from online transaction systems to reporting data mart. Support reporting and reports dissemination functions via in-house .net application utilizing Business Objects RESTful web services.

DAY TO DAY:

- Extract rules from COBOL programs to transform into Informatica code.

- Ability to write design specifications and create code for complex programs.

- Provide solutions to solve automated system problems and transform manual

operations to automated processes.

- Support ETL moving data from the transaction system to the reporting data mart.

- Ability to create complex queries to extract information and generate reports as requested by the Client.

Required Skills:

1) 10+ years of experience in Informatica

2) 10+ years of experience in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle stored procedures

3) 8+ years of experience in Linux shell scripting

4) 8+ years of experience developing applications that interface with Oracle, SQL Server and stored procedures

5) 10+ years of experience to independently analyze program specifications, and to code and test programs according to specifications

6) 10+ years of experience in writing detail design specifications for complex programs

7) 10+ Ability to solve automated system problems and work in a team environment

8) 10+ years of working knowledge of database schema, data modeling and data warehouse design

9) Good verbal and written communication skills

Highly Desired:

\"Advantage Revenue\" Tax processing software knowledge/experience.

Preferred Skills:

1) Proficiency in Microfocus COBOL

2) Experience working within an Agile and/or Scrum project management methodology
