We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to help improve our data management, processing and visualization applications. These are core tools that enable our customers’ interaction with lidar. Ideal candidate has experience with architecture and the whole lifecycle of medium sized frontend application.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Turn our product goals into memorable UI experiences

• Design and implement UI in a modular and extensible way.

• Cultivate best practices and mentor team members to move the envelope of how frontend is developed

• Be able to take care of the product through every stage of the project from interaction with the product manager, implementation to deployment, maintenance and support of the product.

• Work on improvements to our 3D rendering pipeline of point clouds and make sure the output is fast, functional and beautiful

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in computer science or related field

• Minimum 5 years experience delivering modern browser based applications

• Our stack touches multiple disciplines so willingness to learn is essential

• Fluency in one or more frontend frameworks like React, Angular or Vue. Our stack is currently mostly React.

• Strong coding skills (JS and Typescript)

• Experience with Electron is a plus

• Knowledge of WebGL and general interest in 3d visualization (three.js)

• Good understanding of the frontend toolchain like Webpack, Babel

• This role is frontend centric but some understanding of the rest of the stack (flask, DB, deployment, cloud) is beneficial.
