The Automation Tool Developer will be tasked with supporting a number of in-house tools developed with PHP, Python, CGI, and Perl. This position will review and test new releases and enhancements of the software code in order to verify documented functionality. This position typically investigates and implements new functionality and features into production and performs or leads related project work. This role is responsible for administering and maintaining all aspects of the Distributed Job Scheduling tool set.
Required Job Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in Information Technology
- Development experience in PHP, Python, CGI and Perl
- Ability to review code and test new releases
- Ability to research, investigates and implements new functionality and features
- Ability to grow into or lead project work
- Web Services
- Oracle/SQL
- Expert Linux skills
- Shell scripting
- Ability to provide 24x7 on call support as needed

Job Profile Summary:
Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities, to include OS technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities. Typically 5 or more years of systems engineering experience.
