We are building a groundbreaking app to manage products, enhancing our e-commerce site to meet rapid growth, and building out a rich service layer. Our next engineer will help fuel our progress across these areas and will also lay the groundwork for how our technical team will operate and scale.

Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with a frontend JavaScript framework. Some of the tools we currently use include Angular, TypeScript, Ionic, Firebase, Google Cloud, Node.js, GraphQL, Heroku, and Imgix. While we don't expect you to know all of these, familiarity is definitely a plus. You should also be comfortable using JIRA and git/Github workflows

• Build out features and revamp existing ones from start to finish: you will own large aspects of the product and will have a lot of autonomy in how you approach development. Example projects on our roadmap include creating a metrics dashboard for stores, payments integration, notifications and alerts, and personalized shopper experiences.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to design, implement, and integrate new features and tools into our platform--you will be a key partner in roadmap creation.

• Help define our technical standards and best practices, including code reviews, architectural standards, data and analytics pipeline, etc.

• Ensure that our product is scalable and consistent.

• Handle competing priorities and be willing to jump on whatever tasks are needed.

• This role has the potential to evolve into a Team Lead position.
