Job Description:

I&BST Test Automation is a centralized horizontal QE practice that operates to improve the testing efficiency through incorporation of latest technology and test automation fundamentals that contribute to superiority of products and quality of their services.

This team caters towards all the applications/platforms, Its capabilities include automation expertise in functional UI, Services, Database, Mainframe and Robotics. Team supports release and deployment management, Waterfall, Agile and BDD development.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated test frameworks and help streamline quality governance Enhance the current Continuous testing capability and drive to enable all applications in the continuous testing pipeline
• Ability to drive test automation framework to support Mainframe application testing
• Ability to collaborate across the organization and help develop appropriate strategies and objectives that drive new initiatives and innovation for Test Automation
• Communicate with all levels of management and peers within the organization.
• Work intelligently towards building a stable and low maintenance set of automated tests, which remove the requirement to run regression tests manually.
• Measure and improve effectiveness of the automated test suite.
• Work without close supervision and make the necessary day-to-day decisions required to build successful test automation.
• Understand and reuse existent in-house technologies and ensure deliverables benefit

Required Skills:

• 4-5 years of hands on experience in UFT, Selenium, Parasoft SOATest
• Thorough understanding of Agile/Scrum development, DevOps , CI/CD & shift left methodologies like BDD and ATDD
• Knowledge of Mainframe, API/Web services, component testing
• Working experience of Test Management Tool like ALM, Qtest, JIRA
• Experienced in Smartbear TestComplete , TOSCA and mainframe automation will be added advantage.
• Exposure to banking and financial industry
• Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and developers to collect requirements, technical designs, and strategy.
• Strong communication, presentation and problem solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal, management/business skills
• Working experience to develop automation framework from scratch and strong hold on UFT VB coding for automating Web, windows applications. Including but not limited to handling of complex object handling on application, writing Complex SQL queries, using of classes, dictionary object, arrays etc.
• Experienced in forming Agile automation teams, forming strategies to target in sprint automation, delegating work and managing resources to support functional Agile teams.
