ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Utilize Qlik to deliver high quality BI solutions sourcing a variety of data.
• Develop and support dashboard and reporting processes within Qlik
• Prepare dashboards and reports for internal and external audiences using QlikView & QlikSense and other business analytics tools
• Create data dashboards, graphs and visualizations in Qlik Dashboard publishing to server
• Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and visually present them successfully to management using Qlik
• Drive the collection of user requirements and creation of functional specifications
• Create or modify existing reporting assets
• Analyze relational and multidimensional data sets
• Design or enhance relational and dimensional data models
• Document data profiling and quality assurance results, data dictionaries and analytical findings
• Comply with team development, IT, and company processes and policies
• Assist/train users in the use of business reporting assets
• Assist with crafting the development lifecycle process to fit tools and needs
• Communicate clearly with business users and IT professionals about enhancements that are being made to the existing system
• Keep up-to-date with new and preview features in QlikView and QlikSense. Work with teammates to plan mid- and long-term product and technical strategies
• Partner with custom solutions developers, data solution engineers and data developers.
• Act as team representative in various meetings and collaboration activities, include project planning meetings, Technical Advisory Boards, and other meetings where data solutions development expertise is required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree or higher education in one of the following majors: Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer System Engineering, Computer science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or any IT-related degree or related discipline is desired. Certifications, such as Microsoft SQL; ITSM; MCSA/MCAE; MCSD
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience writing Power Query, DAX, MDX for complex data projects
• Experience authoring, diagnosing, and altering SQL Server objects and T-SQL queries
• Experience creating and maintaining reporting assets in Qlik
• Experience with managing objects in QlikSense in a Premium capacity
• Knowledge of general data modeling concepts
• Understanding of process engineering concepts and measurements
• Designing beautifully organized analytics dashboards for upper management
• Experience with SSAS a plus.
• 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer.
• 3+ years of experience with Qlik
• Excellent capability to gather, evaluate and understand business process and user requirements.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Superb Interpersonal Skills.
• English fluency, Arabic is a plus.
• Very Good written and verbal communication skills, presentations, etc.
