job summary:

Our client is seeking a QA Tester to join their team in a direct hire / full time capacity. The company is working fully remote with a tenative timeline to return to their Reston, VA office in July at which point they would like this position to be hybrid. Ideal candidate will have a proficiency with QA testing in a Linux environment.

responsibilities:

• Lead test automation efforts, develop/enhance test automation strategies
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, solutions and automated test scripts
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to create test plans and test scripts
• Lead design and automation-testing code reviews
• Analyze test logs; create test reports, coordinate with team members
• Collaborate with development and multi-functional teams to solve and perform root cause analysis
• Add business value to Agile teams through proactive participation in all phases of Agile development
• Work closely with business collaborators and other team members to establish and contribute to release planning, test planning, retrospectives and demos with the team
• Increase product knowledge and vertical experience continuously

qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Education: No Degree Required
