Main Qualifications

*Manual Tester focused on backend database testing doing SQL data validation

*Strong SQL skills - writing complex SQL queries

*Open to testers who have done a lot of backend testing or ETL testers.

Job Description:

• Design, develop and document the business requirements, test plans, test cases and conduct UAT testing for every release to ensure requirements are met
• Drive BI testing including Functional Testing, Data Validation, Regression Testing, System Integration Testing, Automated Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Develop the test strategy and manage the testing effort.
• Determine test environment and test data requirements, often in concert with integrated systems owners.
• Work with data analysts/developers to identify and resolve defects/bugs

Skills & Qualification:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience as quality assurance analyst
• Experience with Agile development methodology including User stories, Use Cases, UAT, product sprint and backlog management.
• Experience with generating reports from bug tracking software such as JIRA is preferred
• 2+ years' experience reading, writing and running basic SQL queries on MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016
