Job Description

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years' experience as a Automation Engineer creating new Component level automation
• Experience working on automation frameworks using java, python or a similar language
• Solid knowledge of SQL and web (micro) services consumption
• Experience doing performance test using blazmeter ,jmeter etc
• Experience with API test automation frameworks against well-known protocols (REST, SOAP, etc)
• Experience with UI test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of object oriented programming, along with requisite coding and debugging skills
• A firm grasp of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures and multi-threading concepts
• Knowledge of continuous integration practices, preferably using Jenkins, etc
• Experience with BDD automation frameworks (Cucumber, Behave)
• Must have practical experience with unit testing including deep understanding of Mock Testing Frameworks like wire Mock, Lisa, Mockito etc
• Experience with Test Management tools to integrate test automation to jira
• Experience on AWS compute, database and networking services
• Experience working on NOSQL Databases like Cassandra

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing test automation scripts
• Enhancing the current existing Automation framework
• Researching issues in software through testing.
• Automating the process of data provisioning understanding the process and leveraging mocks
• Build Component level automation as part of the Build process
• Collaborating with Support Engineers, Software Developers to develop solutions.
• Debug the test scripts, create batch tests, verify the test results and report the defects using JIRA
