Qualifications & Competencies:

· 7 or more years of experience designing and creating Test Case scenarios, testing software and validating data.

· 3 or more years of experience with SQL and stored procedures in various databases (SQL Server, Sybase, DB2).

· Proficient end-to-end understanding and experience with knowledge of system development life cycles.

· Strong understanding and hands on experience with Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile/SCRUM Methodology.

· Working ability to remain effective under stress and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and the organization.

· Proficient ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease while maintaining strong customer focus.

· Ability to take little direction and achieve quality results independently.

· Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English, including the ability to provide clear, constructive direction and feedback to team members.

· Retail industry experience preferred, especially related to any of the following areas: store operations, warehouse distribution, store allocation, merchandising, marketing, accounting, and finance.

· Knowledge of Merchandise and Warehouse management (JDA, PKMS) and .Net application development environments preferred.

· Knowledge of IBM iSeries operating system and applications preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent year-for-year experience preferred.

· Consistently demonstrates a commitment to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest and ethical responsibilities.

· Minimum 3 years’ experience creating and executing automation test scripts using industry standard automation and testing tools such as Selenium, Soap UI, Postman, JMeter, Appium, Cucumber etc.

· Solid understanding of the Test Pyramid and ability to implement automated tests across all levels (Unit, Functional, Integration, and User Acceptance / end-to-end).

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

· Work closely with IT Management, Software developers, and business users to identify testing requirements for new systems and modifications to existing systems.

· Understand and advocate Agile best practices for all disciplines.

· Design and Execute test cases and validate data for eCommerce website, middleware and backend applications, including order management systems.

· Maintain traceability between test scripts and requirements.

· Manage test environment for integration testing activities.

· Perform End to End validation of Online orders thru different stages.

· Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code to determine breakdown source.

· Document software defects in detail and report to developers and track.

· Bug fix verification and validation.

· Provide weekly status update and communicate any risks to deliverables.

· Provide feedback to developers on software usability and functionality.

· Perform User Acceptance Testing with Stakeholders and obtain final signoff for production deployment.

· Provide Post-implementation support for all deliverables
