Required Skills Set:

Total exp – 10+ years is a must

• Years of Experience: 5 plus years of hands on Python AWS Development
• Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree
• Senior/Strong experience with application/integration development using Python; knowledge with data processing python modules such as NumPy and similar
• Strong experience writing Python code that interfaces with APIs, FTP sites, object-storage (like AWS S3), relational databases (SQL) and similar
• Strong experience using Python with Boto3 and SQL to push data to AWS S3 (object data) and AWS RDS (relational data)
• AWS Glue
• Experience with data schema frameworks such as Avro, Parquet and with JSON formatting
• Nice to have: experience with cloud-native data engineering using tools such as AWS Athena, AWS EMR (Spark & Hive), AWS Event Bridge
• Must be a senior level, self-starter, independent thinker type
• Great communication skills, especially verbal; must be comfortable speaking their mind and working with others
