You will work with the other members of the software engineering team to develop, implement, and maintain algorithms to identify and predict failures in commercial refrigeration systems using data collected from the Internet of Things (IoT) product. Manage the development, implementation, support, and integration of new data analysis routines and algorithms into an existing commercial product. You will report to the Senior Software Manager

Responsibilities of Python Developer:

• Implement pre-defined algorithms used to assess the health and operating efficiency of commercial refrigeration systems
• Integrate algorithms into production code base as modular, testable, and scalable python code
• Utilize existing data storage solutions and data access APIs

Requirements of Python Developer:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other STEM field
• 4+ years Python experience including strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Competent in writing SQL queries
• Experience with Linux development environments
• Experience with version control systems (svn, git)
• Experience with cloud computing and cloud hosting services; AWS experience preferred
• Experience with Linux development environment

Additional Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with NumPy, Scikit-learn
• Enjoys working with low-level data
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Documentation skills
