Title: Program Manager II
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6 Months

Job Responsibilities:
• Support the Business Process Strategic Program Manager(s) by way of standard implementation/project methodology (e.g. mobilize, plan, prepare, design, build, transition, stabilization and close)
• Conduct process discovery workshops, where necessary, to support larger global operations initiative to understand current state processes, variance and drivers
• Maintain project risks, issues, actions and mitigation defined by the Program Manager as appropriate
• Own project reporting and cadence to ensure all cross-functional stakeholders are informed throughout the research lifecycle
• Draft & administer communications needed for securing and informing Process SMEs for research purposes
• Manage mobilization of process discovery research including project plan, reporting and discovery capture documentation
• Evaluate current recruiting processes and discovery output which assists a Program Manager in developing an automated and scalable global recruiting strategy
• Investigate and synthesize ways to improve existing processes and fix pain points through automation, streamlining and/or shared service model(s) in partnership with the Program Manager
• Build initial drafts of recruiting workflows and processes
• Articulate clear problem statements, root causes, risks & process implications related to current state in a workshop type setting
• Advise cross-functional partners on process challenges across the recruiting organization to help drive future process, policy & product enhancements
• Collaborate with applicable XFN partners, such as UX Research & Analytics, to overlay research outputs to ensure findings are all-inclusive
Minimum Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of project or program management and/or consulting experience with focus on Recruiting, HR and/or Operations
• Experience creating and managing project governance (project plans, documenting meeting notes, project risk/issue identification and mitigation)
• Experience supporting process improvement projects with proven record of increasing operational efficiency
• Experience working with recruiting tools and systems
• Experience inputting process change impact analyses to help drive subsequent training and communication strategies
• Experience working with cross-functional partners throughout a project or implementation lifecycle
• Experience working autonomously with proper time management and multi-tasking experience across concurrent priority projects
• Experience working across various levels of the organization while building trust and fostering collaboration
• Experience using MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio or other process mapping software)
• Experience presenting organizational and process flow content to broader audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in tech-industry or start-up environments
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience supporting a Project Management or Ops function
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
