• he purpose of this position is to assist the Data Analytics and Product Management teams with Power BI expertise to provide a Business Intelligence ecosystem that transforms data from multiple source systems (Snowflake, SQL Server, Azure) into an extensible platform that provides business insights and analytical capabilities to our clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Collaborate with Product Managers, detect and gather automation and reporting requirements, document use cases, and analyze data and data sources to determine best conceptual and technical solution designs.
• Analyze complex data integration from multiple sources used for report writing, detect data integration problems and suggest improvements with immediate impact on business generated self-service queries and reports.
• Create reporting mock-ups and prototypes using Microsoft Power BI. Report and prototype data sources are cloud data sources (e.g. Azure Snowflake, MS SQL Server).
• Develop and publish reports, dashboards, operational, ad hoc reporting from conceptual design through delivery.
• Publish and share self-service reporting prototypes, reports and dashboards to maximize user access, user adoption and business value.
• Publishing and sharing can be done on the appropriate Client managed reporting environments, including Client Power BI cloud environments or Client on-premise reporting server environments.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, detect and gather automation and reporting requirements, document use cases, and analyze data and data sources to determine best conceptual and technical solution designs.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of Azure Power BI Premium experience + 5-10 years of BI/IT background
• 4+ years of experience writing complex SQL against multi-dimensional data models
• 3+ years of experience in creating Visualizations and dashboards using Power BI
• Power BI Modeling/Development/Administration
• Enterprise Data Warehouse Design/Development Experience Preferred
• Experience with Azure and Snowflake a big plus
