Job Description:

The Expertise We are Looking For 7-10 years of hands on experience in Data analysis, Data Modeling, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development Must have skills 1. SQL – advanced 2. PL/SQL – advanced (collections, cursors, exception handling, ability to design and implement stored procedures, work with data API’s) 3. Performance Tuning – intermediate (Troubleshooting perf issues, query tuning, xplans and how to use them) 4. ETL, Informatica - Basic Nice to have skills 1. Automated testing - Basic 2. CI/CD experience – Basic Deep understanding of Data Movement and Data Warehousing concepts Experience with SQL performance tuning, data modeling and coming up with optimal design for data storage and retrieval for both applications and batch processes Experience working as part of fast paced Agile Delivery teams Working knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using tools like Maven, Jenkins and uDeploy A willingness to be a self-starter & take on challenging projects The Skills You Bring You are a seasoned developer capable of understanding problems and implementing solutions You are someone that can take initiative as well as work both independently & with teams You are able to mentor and lead small team of data engineers You are able to effectively communicate with stakeholders across multiple teams You are able to work in a nimble environment and quickly adapt to changes in business priorities and requirements You are able to establish good engineering and coding practices and be the champion for the larger organization The Value You Deliver Leads and takes responsibilityfor analyzing and developing integrated solutions to solve immediate business & technical challenges Partners and collaborates with stakeholders on Portfolio Management, Research & Trading technology teams to successfully implement & test solutions Performs duties associated with the software development life cycle including attending scrums, reporting status, and delivering solutions Increase stability of systems by building processes to ensure and improve data quality and by identifying and resolving issues quickly
