WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, code, debug, document, and support computer applications and tools consistent with established specifications and business requirements
• Write clean, reusable, scalable and secure code for deployment adhering to standard methodologies
• Performing root cause analysis and helping solve technical issues
• Works closely with Development Lead, Architects, Project Managers, Systems Analysts, and other members of the wider team to plan and develop the integration components
• Breakdown and estimate technical tasks and recommend implementation approach for team; ensure stories contain the right balance of technical direction, standard methodologies, and level of detail

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

• 3+ years previous PHP development experience with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role
• Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support.
• Bachelors or master's degree in computer science, Math or related engineering fields or equivalent practical experience

Job Skills

• Hands-on enterprise software development using PHP MVC design pattern, REST / SOAP Web Services with JSON & XML.
• Well-versed with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with industry standard databases like MS-SQL, MySQL
• Knowledge of standard change management tools and processes, code branching/merging/commit strategies, feature branches, and trunk-based development using either Git / Bitbucket / Gitlab
• Extensive Experience with DataTables plugin.
• Shell Scripting experience.
• Experience with testing /dev-ops tooling like - Jenkins, Octopus, Postman, SOAPUI, JIRA, Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Hands on experience with PHP Composer and Guzzle HTTP client.
• Familiarity with PHP Standard Recommendation.
• Some experience with Bootstrap 4.
• React / Angular
