2) have all the Required skill set and have worked as an "Oracle Forms/Reports Developer (10g/11g and higher) + Oracle PL/SQL certified" in a large & Complex enterprise level IT Environment.
3) have
• Minimum 8-10+ years of professional experience within an Oracle environment; comfort and knowledge of Oracle 12g and Oracle 19c; • Oracle PL/SQL certified; • Advanced skill sets in Oracle Forms and Reports (10g and higher), Oracle Databases (11g and higher), PL/SQL; • Experience with Oracle Application Server and WebLogic; • Experience with migrating from Oracle 11g to Oracle 12c to 19 c; • Experience with Unix AIX and Kornshell scripting; • Knowledge of TOAD or Ultra Edit; • Knowledge of Rapid Application Development and prototyping; • Ability to design curriculum to train developers in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.

This is a fixed fee/hourly based project which is inclusive of travel, lodging, per diem expenses and all other costs associated with the completion of the associated tasks.

Interviews:
In the event an interview is requested, in-person interviews will be conducted at Tallahassee, Florida. At the discretion of the manager, interviews may be conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams. A phone interview may also be requested as a first step.

Telecommuting:
Telecommuting is not an option for this position. This is NOT a remote position.

Purpose
Our Client is seeking to augment its Software and Data Services staff with a programmer/analyst with strong Oracle development skills to support in-house software development initiatives. This resource will work with other developers and consultants on the maintenance and enhancements of existing applications and other projects as needed.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other Information Technology major, or equivalent work experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Position responsibilities may require information technology functions and tasks, including but not limited to, the following:
• Application development using Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL;
• Database development through PL/SQL triggers, packages, procedures, functions and other objects;
• Operating system and ETL development with AIX Kornshell scripting;
• Write comprehensive test scripts for developer testing of Oracle applications;
• Handle day-to-day management of assigned projects and prioritize workload to ensure project deadlines are met;
• Knowledge and usage of Oracle development “best practices”;
• Work closely with end users in defining and documenting requirements;
• Execute all design stages from the test environment to QA and move-to-production of final files;
• Write software user manuals and technical documentation;
• A transfer of knowledge to the Lottery team is expected through individual mentoring and/or planned group training for Oracle Forms, Report and PL/SQL; and

REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)

• Minimum 6 – 8 years professional experience within an Oracle environment; comfort and knowledge of Oracle 12g and Oracle 19c;
• Oracle PL/SQL certified; (Need to provide Copy of the certificate )
• Advanced skill sets in Oracle Forms and Reports (10g and higher), Oracle Databases (11g and higher), PL/SQL;
• Experience with Oracle Application Server and WebLogic;
• Experience with migrating from Oracle 11g to Oracle 12c to 19 c;
• Experience with Unix AIX and Kornshell scripting;
• Knowledge of TOAD or Ultra Edit;
• Knowledge of Rapid Application Development and prototyping;
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively;
• Ability to work in a team environment with multiple developers, consultants and project managers;
• Ability to collaborate development efforts and work within a standards-based environment; and
• Ability to design curriculum to train developers in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
