Summary:
- Our organization is looking for a top-tier, senior-level Oracle Developer to join our team as a team lead. The selected individual will be responsible for mentoring and providing technical direction to a team of mostly offshore developers in the delivery of technology solutions to our HR business partners.
- The Feature Lead ensures the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes. This individual will lead feature delivery including developing complex ETL/models in data warehousing environment, involving technical design, development, testing, and migration of Oracle objects (spanning FTE, head count, Leadership reporting).
- He/She must demonstrate excellent communication skills and critical thinking to ensure all assumptions, constraints, behaviors are well thought through. This is an individual contributor role who is also a team mentor, at times representing the team in status meetings and works with the Technology Manager to address skills' gaps and opportunities for improvement in team structure.
- Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Participate in status meetings to track progress, resolve issues, articulate & mitigate risks and escalate concerns in a timely manner.
- Exemplifies and evangelizes great solution delivery management by minimizing technical debt, surpasses design, engineering, & organizational practices (unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocols), coding and quality, and exceeds security standards and client's change management requirements
- Demonstrates the development and implementation of enterprise data quality standards and data protection standards within the space
- sets the bar for team communications and interactions - is an excellent teammate to peers, influencing them in a positive direction
- Acts as a liaison for production activities/issues. Mentors the team on work breakdown and execution
- Oversees continuous improvement of database scalability & performance
- uses versioning tools such as GIT/Bit bucket
- sets up jobs using autosys for automation
- Advocates and advances modern application development & deployment - Agile solution delivery, Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery
- identifies data anomalies/data patterns in huge data sets
Required Skills:
- HR Domain experience.
- 10+ years Data Warehousing experience, including manipulation/ transformation of millions of rows with optimal methods
- 6+ years experience with traditional relational database management systems (Oracle) and SQL skills, including developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers in a Big Data environment
- 6+ years SQL & PL/SQL development experience with Oracle DBMS and VPD Security.
- Advanced-level analytical, debugging, and critical thinking skills.
- 6+ years using TOAD, Unix Shell Scripting, Autosys, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access)
- Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) concept, tools, and best practices
- Demonstrable risk identification skills
Desired Skills:
- Computer Science/Software Engineering (or related technical) degree or equivalent experience in field
- Enterprise HR (or other highly sensitive) Data Domain experience
- Technology Development experience in Financial Services/investemnt Industry
- Advanced experience in Unix Shell Scripts, Autosys, and TOAD for Oracle
- Working knowledge of Java/ Mulesoft/ APIs
- Working knowledge of Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, and other Big Data Analytics technologies
- Experience in Agile Scrum, DevOps, SAFe or Disciplined Agile ways of working & CI/CD Release Processes
- Expert in data regulation and exercises best practices in data management and governance

For Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $15.00 to $25.00/hour.
