Oracle DBA

St. Louis

Uberlegen Technology Group (UTG) has a contract to hire role for an Oracle DBA. This is a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri; 4:00pm - 1:00am) job. Experience in upgrades of 12c to 19c, patch management and database installations. Great communication skills, good team player, right attitude and ability to work flexible hours if/when needed are also very important aspects for this role.

Also, DBA needs to have the following skills:

Technical skills

• 12c/19c experience supporting a large number of databases(500+) for Fortune 500 companies
• OEM 12c and/or 13c
• Goldengate
• ADG/DG
• ASM
• RAC
• RMAN
• Exadata
• OVM
• Generate and read an AWR report

Process knowledge/experience with –

• Patch mgmt. process
• Upgrade process
• Data pump, import/export
• Performance tuning
• TFA and other performance tuning tools

Education

BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience

Related Work Experience

6 to 9 years of experience working with Oracle and various database management systems in testing, implementation, maintenance and administration in a multiple platform environment

24x7 on-call support
