The Challenge:

Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and sof tware, requires a combination of te chn ical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network that our client's needs.

Are you interested in helping manage multiple secure development networks and lab environments that enable a unique mission and talented group of developers? Do you enjoy working with others to troubleshoot and solve te chn ical issues? Then this job is for you! You will be expected to maintain and improve the health and security of multiple secure enclaves by helping to install, configure, maintain, and monitor core network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls and other network components. You will work closely with end us ers to solicit and document unique network operating requirements and work closely with other system engineers and administrators to ensure secure communications and prevent unauthorized int r us ion within and between multiple mission networks. You will document SOPs, produce network security documentation, and help implement network monitoring solutions to ensure the health and security of the overall network. You will also provide engineering support as the mission networks progress through their security accreditation process. Our overall goal is to identify the best solutions to meet client needs, so you'll be able to advise on new te chn iques that break free from the legacy models by leveraging the latest ind us try networking solutions. You'll help the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and c us tomizing solutions to maintain a balance between security and mission. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a senior-level network engineer, including network installation, configuration or monitoring and assessment for enterprise or mission critical environments
  • Experience in the intelligence community, including implementing and assessing solutions to meet mission operational requirements
  • Experience with network vulnerability assessment, int r us ion detection monitoring or visualization
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity fields and te chn ology foc us ing on network infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper or other network security devices. including switches, routers, firewalls
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
  • BA or BS degree



Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds
  • Experience with configuring secure virtual local area network communications and establishing a demilitarized zone between secure enclaves and the public Internet.
  • Knowledge of network visualization tools or assessment utilities
  • Ability to work independently with senior administrative and te chn ical leads
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills



Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required
