Zycron has joined with a large corporation in the Healthcare space in a search for a .NET Team Lead, Software Engineer.

The Team Lead, Software Engineering will lead and direct the work of a team of software engineers that ensures the system security, stability, and availability of software solution. The Team Lead, Software Engineering will collaborate with support teams to provide technical support and work with product owners to determine and understand new product requirement.

The Team Lead, Software Engineer will function as a Senior Software Engineer with some people lead responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct the work of a team of software engineers
• Develop web applications for mission critical business functions
• Provide work effort estimates to management to assist in setting priorities
• Maintain existing or develop new applications and solutions
• Assist in peer review the development work of other team members
• Assist in the design and expansion of cloud infrastructure
• Participate in code reviews and testing
• Develop database applications for mission critical business functions. Participate in database architecture design and implementation.
• Mentor, train, and coach a team of Software Engineers
• Assist in coordination of team development activities
• Assist in developing long term vision of application functionality
• Ability to self-correct technology solutions with minimal supervision/oversight

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience.
• 5+ years as a .Net or node.js focused software engineer.
• Some experience supervising or leading a team of IT professionals
• .NET Core 2.0+ and Asp.Net Core preferred, .NET Framework 4.5+ and Asp.Net MVC.
• js with Typescript.
• Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
• RDBMS experience with platforms such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
• Cloud experience preferably in AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools and paradigms.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coach and deliver feedback
• Ability to resolve conflict
• Experience with NoSql/Document Database platforms such as Mongo DB, Casandra, Couchbase, DynamoDB, etc. preferred
• Experience with stream processing and messaging platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, SNS/SQS RabbitMQ, etc. preferred
• Experience using infrastructure as code to manage cloud services using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager templates, etc. preferred
• Experience with docker and serverless API’s. preferred
• Advanced design patterns such as CQS, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Event Driven Design, Microservice Design Concepts, etc. preferred
