Senior Software Engineer (Mobile/Full Stack)

The Senior Software Engineer writes and maintains code within applications and systems to implement capabilities and features, improve performance and maintainability while reducing technical debt in alignment with product and technology roadmaps. The Sr. Software Engineer plays a role in Agile planning, providing advice and guidance, and monitoring emerging trends. This position is on an agile development team working on the Manheim mobile client experiences.

Technology We Use: Java, Objective-C, React Native, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Node.js, React, Redux, HTML, CSS, RESTful Services, AWS, Elastic Beanstalk, Reddis in ElastiCache, Aurora MySQL, Apollo GraphQL, Jest, GIT, Jenkins, Terraform, Splunk, New Relic and Datadog.

<>Qualifications:

• Where permitted by applicable law, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this U.S.-based job. (Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will be considered.)
• 5+ years of backend experience using technologies such as Node, Java, or C#
• 3+ years developing iOS and Android native mobile applications, using available native APIs and development tools
• 3+ years with one or more JavaScript SPA frameworks such as React or Angular
• Strong experience in software design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume software systems and components, client-facing web and mobile applications, and major Internet-oriented applications and systems
• Working in continuous integration, testing, and delivery SDLC employing automation
• Ability to understand and work with product teams to engineer requirements
• Experience with REST API development and maintenance

Nice to Have

• BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience
• Exposure to Agile/SAFE methodologies
• Experience with creating applications to run on AWS
