JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lead Mobile Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and forward-thinking Lead Mobile Engineer to join our team. You will directly lead and contribute to deliver our most ambitious projects in a high pace environment.

You will be hands-on in delivering mobile software solutions that drive the digital and ecommerce capabilities. In this role, you will be a key influence in the success of our goals, we are searching for candidates with strong fundamental experience in mobile software development, design, architecture principles. Responsibilities

• Sets the standard by writing high quality code that is performant, reusable, and secure while adhering to industry best practices.
• Leads the design, architecture, and scale of mobile cloud native applications.
• Performs as subject matter expert, helping team members, understand complex technical needs, risks, and hurdles.
• Leads the implementation and providing valuable feedback and code review.
• Collaborates effectively with product team and other technology teams to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas
• Works in a team as well as independently to deliver on aggressive schedules and goals

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience writing code and delivering mobile applications in native and cross-platform native mobile applications with 1 or more of the following languages: Objective C, Java, SWIFT, React Native or Flutter
• 2 years mobile application architecture experience with applications released in app stores with high ratings.
• Experience leading execution of complex projects involving multiple engineers and with cross functional teams.
• Experience working in a cloud environment such as AWS.
• Experience integrating with service endpoints and optimizing micro services for app performance.
• A strong focus on high-quality mobile UI experiences
• Adept at working in Agile teams, exposure to SAFE preferred
• Start-up experience preferred

Position logistics:

6months contract to Hire/ Direct Hire/ Contract

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (Client is accepting Remote applicants also)
