Job Description

Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC, an award-winning, minority female-owned federal government contractor, has an exciting opportunity for a Microsoft 365 Technical Architect to join our team. The Microsoft 365 Technical Architect is responsible for effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities surrounding the client's multi-level cloud technology projects and using their knowledge of and experience with various Microsoft technologies to reach client goals. The Technical Architect will be:

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 PowerShell modules, including Exchange Online Management, Security & Compliance Center, Microsoft Teams, and Azure Active Directory PowerShell for Graph.
  • Able to update technical documents, for example Account Management Plans, Detailed Design Documents, as well as architectural diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
  • Able to brief stakeholder groups on the impact of changes to security, privacy, records management, and data governance.
  • Able to submit Change Requests (CRs) and present to the client's Change Control Board ("CCB").
  • Able to open support tickets with Microsoft and work with their engineers to resolve issues.
  • Able to research technical topics and presents possible options to an executive level to obtain consensus and approval.
  • Aware of recent Microsoft 365 changes and new services as announced at MS Ignite and other major Microsoft conferences. Able to articulate the impact of changes on the existing architecture.
  • Familiar with other non-Microsoft vendors, such as Solarwinds, Okta, ZixEncrypt, SailPoint, and Ironport.
  • Able to manage an entire Microsoft 365 tenant as a global administrator.
  • Knowledgeable about Microsoft 365 best practices hybrid architecture for government (GCC) tenants.


Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain or currently possess a U.S. Government clearance at the Public Trust level.
  • Must have over 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Prior experience in Cloud and IT transition, transformation, and migration management.
  • Microsoft 365 and/or Microsoft Azure certifications preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, staff, and clients in a distributed team environment
  • Strong customer service/client facing skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
