Digital Marketing Developer
Job Description
This position will assist the marketing team develop and maintain websites, landing pages and emails. and will the company's brands. We are looking for a quick learner that can adapt and fit in with existing applications while also staying current on new techniques. This position is under limited supervision, and will report to the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager.
Essential Duties
1. Performs as a key member of the corporate marketing team to execute and maintain development projects as directed by the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager and the VP of Marketing.
2. Works collaboratively with marketing and other teams to gather specs and develop websites, landing pages, emails, and any other web-based application that is needed.
3. Maintains and updates existing websites and web applications.
4. Maintains site health on websites.
5. Works with marketing and other teams to assist with technical CRM duties.
6. Works with internal and external IT to assist the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager with any integrations and APIs.
Required Skills:
1. High School Diploma
2. Minimum 2 or more years work experience in web development, either at an agency or internal marketing team
3.Some experience with CMS (WordPress or HubSpot)
4. Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript (mostly jQuery)
5. Familiarity with Bootstrap or other responsive frameworks
6. Ability to work with Designers (great communication skills with stakeholders)
7. Work in a collaborative environment with a highly efficient team
8. Great time management and ability to switch tasks quickly
9. Ability to problem solve and find solutions from online resources
Nice to Have
1. AA or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Marketing or another related field
2. Template development in WordPress or HubSpot
3. Server knowledge, including maintaining and upgrading web servers and communicating with IT to accomplish these tasks
4. Backed knowledge, PHP preferably
5. Knowledge of APIs and/or integration software (i.e.. PieSync, Zapier, etc.)
6. SQL knowledge
7. SEO, ADA and W3C knowledge
8. Familiarity with SEMRush
9. Marketing knowledge, specifically CRM and automation
10. Ability to translate photoshop files to webpages
a. Ability to cut and size images
b. Pixel perfect translation from PS to HTML
