Position: Manual QA Tester

Location: Philadelphia, PA , USA

Long Term contract Role

Job Description:

• Must have experience with vehicle testing (testing software for all remote services and diagnostics with vehicles).
• Functional testing to ensure that the software meets high- and low-level requirements
• Test functionality and create test scripts
• Facilitate creating more robust testing solutions and providing subject matter expertise on best practices, processes while working in a collaborative and team oriented environment
• Strong functional and technical understanding of applications (ie: how applications interact with each other)
• Understand business requirements, defines tests suites, manually validates functionality, develops automated test cases
• Experience documenting detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test strategies, plans and test cases
• Experience coordinating release management for software releases
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for various components including user interfaces and APIs
