About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager of DevOps to join our Team. This Manager is responsible for ownership, management, oversight, and continuous improvement of DevOps strategy and supporting all our transactional and backend websites. The individual will create efficiencies and automation within day-to-day operations and support production environments by way of standard practices, tools, and automation. The ideal candidate will have a positive, customer focused personality and a willingness to bring new technologies to the environment. The DevOps Manager will be experienced at managing a team to ensure a healthy work culture and environment as well as providing mentorship to junior team members.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

• Own and Support multiple production ecommerce websites.
• You will be Leading DevOps Engineer’s located in multiple US Locations and Offshore Engineers.
• Lead projects for CI/CD pipelines, IaC provisioning, containerization and supporting test automation initiatives.
• Participate in the Agile DevOps design, development, testing, and release of new capabilities and features with focus on release and post-production support.
• Partner with cross functional engineering teams to understand their project needs and provide the necessary support.
• Review, analyze and recommend tools and processes to improve and automate workflow.
• Partner with organizational infrastructure and security teams to assure compliance.
• Communicate cross functionally to determine deadlines and prioritize work for the DevOps team
• Automate how software is built, tested, and deployed (Jenkins, Helm, Kubernetes)
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and trending operational tools.
• Displays technical leadership and oversight of implementation and deployment planning, system integration, delivery, operations of technical solutions.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of DevOps management or related experience.
• 3+ Years of experience in working with Customer facing ecommerce and/or point of Sale environment.
• Deep knowledge of the common software development practices and how they can be accelerated through DevOps
• Deep understanding and experience in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or other IaC tools
• Experience hiring, mentoring, coaching, and developing top technical talent
• Experience in leading Onsite and Offshore team members and assigning and tracking work effectively.
• Experience in Handling multiple projects at same and communicating with business stakeholders effectively.
• Experience In WebSphere commerce environment, configuration support, application deployment using WCBD.
• Experience in working with Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Real user monitoring tools.
• Expertise in investigating technologies and recommending solutions to meet growing ecommerce needs.
• Experience in Building Automation of tasks and configuration settings to speedup up the process and minimize the manual issues.
• A high degree of initiative, dependable, and able to work well with limited supervision
