Title: Machine Learning Engineer Location: Irving, TX 75039/ 100% Remote. Duration: 6 Months/ C2H for the right candidate

Description

  • The Senior Engineer will report to the Manager, Personalization platform Technology. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of technology Execution team as client is going through digital transformation, and Personalization will be the foundation for a multi-channel customer engagement.
  • As Machine Learning Ops engineer in our group, you’ll be working with an outstanding team of data engineers, data scientists and other product managers to build cutting edge analytics solutions and applications.
  • The role will interact with business and technology teams, understand requirements, complete impact analysis, make coding changes and testing, coordinate various stages of testing with business and/or other technology teams, complete production implementations and provide technology and production support.
  • As a lead Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll develop machine learning platform solutions for machine learning operations and deployment. You will use data-focused software engineering and languages like Python to build, deploy and monitor the data science models developed by Data Scientists.
  • You’ll solve problems with techniques you may need to research, learn and implement. You’ll use your strong technical and communication skills as well as proven experience in developing and deploying the machine learning platform.
  • You’ll build and deploy these solutions leveraging AWS cloud services preferably. In this position, knowledge of differences in the SDLC for machine learning-driven products is important.


Responsibilities

  • As the Machine Learning engineer lead, you will deliver data science-inspired products, working closely with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Data Engineers.
  • Design, build and the ML Ops framework and set up cloud platform components for data science models to deploy, scale and ensure ongoing monitoring
  • Develop CI/CD pipeline and automation for data ingestion and model deployment
  • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers and architects to define and implement technical architecture blueprint for AI/ML solutions
  • Build and maintain tools and infrastructure for data processing for AI/ML development initiatives
  • Develop and update technical documentation for senior leaders and colleagues to serve as a reference guide
  • Demonstration of thought leadership on building Machine Learning Operations roadmap
  • Ability to interact with both technical and executive stakeholders as needed
  • Perform hands-on design, development, and implementation. As a developer you will be a self-driven individual contributor; provide efficiently organized and designed logic; be highly motivated and well versed in developing robust, easily maintainable applications.
  • Assist with architecture and technical evaluation for Operationalizing ML production ready models
  • You thrive working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy developing high-volume data processing applications across multiple time zones and locations.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software development in an agile environment
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with deployment and operationalization of Machine Learning algorithms at a very large-scale
  • Experience with PMML, Python, automation build scripts is essential.
  • Skilled in Linux, Bash, AWS Services, Java, SQL & proficiency in Python. Exposure or experience with AWS Sagemaker is a plus.
  • Experience with API design and security in relation to AI/ML Models
  • Experience with partnering Data Scientists other technical leads
  • Data focused software engineer with experience integrating cloud services and resources
  • Experience with end-to-end instrumentation and monitoring and incident management
  • Foundation in computer science, software engineering, system architecture, statistical/quantitative modeling with ability to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data
  • B.S. and/or M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience/knowledge with SCM (Bitbucket, GIT) and DevOps tool suite (CI/CD, Bamboo, Automation etc.,) is essential.
  • Experience in Marketing and Predictive Analytics products (ex: SAS based real-time decision systems leveraging A/B testing, rules, and machine learning that drive recommendations and content) is a plus
  • Experience with preparing systems for peak seasons such as holiday for retail.
  • Experience developing and leveraging relationships in cross-functional teams
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
