Job Description

Role: Oracle Apps Database Administrator (DBA) at Irvine, CA(Remote)

Location: Irvine, CA(Remote)
Employment Type: Full Time(H1B Transfer)
Role and Responsibility:
Understand customer's business needs and requirements. Analyze business requirements of assigned customers and/or project(s)
Provide expertise in Installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
assist in technical troubleshooting
Act as lead on all technical tasks within a project
Communicate issues and status information to the Manager concerning service delivery activities
Ensure tasks delegated to other personnel are completed in a timely and appropriate manner.
Provide and Update SOPs related to the customer on a need basis
Review for Recurring Issues and perform root cause analysis.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent working experience
Minimum 8 years’ experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c administration with RAC and ASM
Minimum 8 years’ experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i & R12 administration
Key understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 architecture and online patching procedures.
Key understanding of Oracle Demantra Demand Management 12.2.
E-Business Suite Cloning/Refresh.
EBS Application Troubleshooting.
Oracle RAC.
Oracle Database Backup utilities (RMAN).
Database and SQL performance Tuning.
Shell Scripting.
Good written & Verbal Communication.
Open to On-call support
Preferred Skills:
Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.
Oracle database 12c.
OEM
Oracle Data guard config and maintenance
Good to have or Exposure to Exadata
Good to have or Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
