job summary:

Linux Administrator

Linux System Enterprise Administrator to join a team responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining health of Linux servers in a multi-site environment. Support the requests of the users and solve any problems related with Linux servers and offer technical guidance. Deploying, configuring and updating server systems. Provide solutions for complex issues. Comply with the Organization security standards. On-call support and weekend work as required. The ideal candidate will need strong communication skills and be well organized.

- Experience with Installing, Supporting, managing and debugging Enterprise production Linux Servers

- In depth experience Linux System administration, performing system maintenance, monitoring performance, troubleshoot reported issues and provide solutions

- Backup and Restoring Linux OS systems

- Red Hat Certified System Administrator Certification preferred

- Proficient in SALT and Red Hat Satellite

- Knowledge of TCP/IP, experience with server level networking and security concepts, implementation, and troubleshooting

- Proactive Administration approach

- Understanding of virtualization and physical infrastructures

- Experience with Change Management and Problem management
