Our Fortune 500 client is looking for a Senior Linux Administrator / Engineer (Advanced Linux Administration) - REMOTE JOB
Orchestration/Host Platform
Requirements • Linux Automation and Orchestration (Ansible, Salt, Puppet)
• Solid and extensive experience with Linux System Administration (RedHat 8, CentOS)
• Expert Linux network understanding
o Kernel network stack (Advanced Routing and Switching knowledge; IPv6 (and dual stack), Bridges, LB, Bonding, Open vSwitch)
o High speed network applications (eBPF, DPDK, XDP)
• High performance applications (CPU pinning, NUMA awareness)
• Scripting skills (Python, Shell)
• Microservices architecture proficiency (Docker, Podman, containerd, lxc) Preferred additional requirements
• Network storage applications (Linux native-NFS, Application based – MinIO, Longhorn, Fuse)
• Linux security hardening (SELinux, AppArmor)
• Kubernetes (Experience with cluster setup and configuration as well as deployment and scheduling of workloads, Helm, Operators, Container creation, CNI (networking), CSI (storage)
• DevOps exposure (Git, CICD, Jira, Confluence)
• Full stack understanding (UI, Backend, middleware, client)
• Performance analysis and tuning experience
• Telecom (Radio & Core) experience
• Experience from product development (R&D) preferred.
