Position: Linux System Admin

Position Description:

The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, supporting and administering various areas of our IT infrastructure.

• Maintain VM and Docker images for application services at deployment sites.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify needs for deploying and configuring applications.
• Support mission-critical systems/services and communicate to responsible parties.
• Participate in an off-hours on-call support rotation.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of Linux Administration experience (They have to know system control, file permissions, monitoring solutions, package managers, what does a cron do)
• Strong experience with Bash scripting
• Excellent debugging, problem solving, and analytical skills.

Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):

• Experience with puppet or chef
• Experience with the cloud, ideally Azure
• Experience with virtual machines
