Full Time.

• • Responsible for building and managing Big-Data infrastructure setup in VMware private cloud, RHEL and Cisco UCS platform.
  • Deployment and setting up infrastructure, application catalogs and Puppet workflows for new and existing applications.
  • Responsible for patching and upgradation of infra components such as RHEL, vRealize, vCenter, ESXi, Cisco UCS components and firmware to mitigate security risks and bug fixes.
  • Performance tuning of operating systems kernel parameters, VMware cloud products and Cisco UCS platform for enhanced Web and Big-Data application performance • Performing POC for new products and features released by vendors (VMware, Cisco, RedHat etc.)
  • Configuration of maintenance of alerts in Splunk and Icinga.
  • Creation and configuration of customized data sources for Splunk using shell, Perl, python, Powercli , Powertool scripts.
  • Developing and debugging internal scripts for automating complex tasks
  • Working with vendor partners for implementation of bug fixes and quick resolution of critical issues.
  • Review, Create and update the Known Error repository in Confluence which could help American Express in building their KEDB (Known Error Database), Work instructions.
