JOB TITLE: Lead Project Manager- IRS

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The Lead Project Manager provides oversight and consulting services to the IRS Enterprise Digitalization and Case Management office including oversight for pilot projects, business process improvement, technology benefits analysis.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversight for a minimum of 20 pilot projects annually, each of 30-120 day duration
• Agile project management
• Provide oversight and apply PMBOK principles to totality of pilot project management
• Develop ROI metrics and other measurements of success for pilot projects
• Analyze, evaluate, report pilot project findings, conclusions, recommendations to IRS senior leaders
• Provide analysis, risk management, quality management, scheduling, performance management
• Write project reports, provide briefings
• Manage stakeholders register and project strategic communications plan

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA in business or related field required
• 10 years of Project Management experience, including documented experience using Microsoft Project, including subproject and other advanced Microsoft Project functionality, to support enterprise-level projects and pilots with multiple workstreams and integration levels
• Expertise with PM tools including Visio, Teams, SharePoint, Project, WebEx
