Based in San Diego, CA or Marlborough, MA, The Data & Analytics Services team works closely with business leaders, business process analysts, and end users to identify and deliver reporting and analytic solutions to help make data analysis faster and easier, enabling employees at every level to make more informed decisions. The team utilizes a variety of information management tools to develop and deploy data, reporting and analytic tools to corporate and field customers. This role requires the Lead Developer, Data & Analytics Services to gain knowledge of the multitude of data sources utilized by the organization, from both a business and technical perspective. The Lead Developer, Data & Analytics Services will utilize a variety of analytical and application development tools, along with their business and technical skills, to deliver and support tools enterprise-wide. The successful candidate is a problem solver in a fast-moving and highly diverse environment and will be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that accuracy and timeliness are not compromised. Above all, this person should thrive on delivering analytic, flexible, mobile solutions accurately, and exceeding customer expectations. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting BI applications on Qlik platforms (QlikView, Qlik Sense, nPrinting), and other BI environments as needed supporting the Supply Chain, Quality and Regulatory functions.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with Business Users and Business Process Analysts to analyze information needs, develop functional requirements, rapidly prototype solutions, and deliver BI applications helping the business achieve desired outcomes.
• Follow Agile software development methodology. Improve development standards, and adhere to change control, support and governance processes.
• Monitor and drive user adoption of implemented solutions.
• Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, usability and value.
• Participate in creating architecture diagrams and systems documentation that can be understood and used by business users and IS team members.
• Provide guidance to business users in the area of business analytics; assist business users with self-service dashboard development.
• Follow and share applicable best practices.
• Provide support and issue resolution by analyzing issues, discovering root cause, and providing alternative long-term solutions to resolve.
• Ensure the integrity and security of institutional data.
• Create value via logical and innovative solutions that solve complex problems and adhere to best practices.
• Display strong customer service orientation, commitment to professionalism, and excellent work ethic.

Qualifications:

• Experience with a subset of analytics and reporting platforms: QlikView, Qlik Sense, OBIEE, Power BI, Orbit, Hyperion Financial Reporting, SmartView, Hyperion Financial Management, Essbase, Tableau, Microstrategy.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses: Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
• Extensive SQL experience.
• Proven experience developing in Agile methodology.
• Experience with ERP systems; experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite strongly preferred.
• Business analysis experience required; hands-on experience in process mapping, process improvement and process re-engineering strongly preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to logically analyze complex processes and systems.
• Understanding of enterprise data models and utilization of both relational and dimensional data sources from systems like Oracle EBS, Agile PLM, Hyperion HFM and others.

Education:

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Business Administration, Math, Statistics or related field.

Experience:

8+ years of development experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics or ERP areas.
