TITLE: Jr. Power BI Developer

Are you intrigued by Data? Our client is seeking someone who likes to tinker with data, analyze and develop reports based on the data. In this role, you will be developing Business Intelligence dashboards, assisting with ETL Integrations, and creating reports using Power BI, SSRS, and associated technologies.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years experience with Power BI
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with building reports and dashboards.
• Experience documenting processes or code.
• Problem solver who can add value even when working outside of normal scope of duties.
• Willingness and ability to learn and research.
• Attention to details.
• Must have an Automation mindset.
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to address and work on unanticipated challenges or changes in the work in progress
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements for reports or ETL projects.
• Assist in constructing and supporting ETLs.
• Prepare data for reports.
• Report building and maintenance.
• Conduct report data and functionality tests.
• Resolve issues found in testing.
• Document new and existing processes.
• Perform design, development and delivery of business intelligence solutions using Power BI software.
• Works with team leads to ensure adherence to data modeling and data management standards and best practices
• Identifies opportunities for data alignment and re-use
