A banking company in the San Diego area is looking for a Java Tech Lead to join their engineering team. This person will oversee a small-mid size team of java developers while working hands-on building internal and external application platform from scratch. This platform drives data to other business units, allowing for deeper analysis, machine learning, and end customer features. You'll play a primary role in all parts of the SDLC.

This position cannot support sponsorship or third party vendors. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to work in San Diego when the state mandates it's safe.
Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Java development in professional production settings
• Spring (Boot, Security, IOC)
• Microservices
• Experience with Relational Databases
• Experience with AWS
• Computer Science Degree

Desired Skills & Experience

• At least a year in a leadership position
• Angular or React
