Job Description
- This is an Architect role.
- Migration experience in large numbers is a required skill. Spring Boot migration is a requirement.
- They are migrating from Java 7 to Java 15 or 16
- 10+ years is the minimum amount of experience.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot (2.3 or higher) and Spring Security (5.x preferred), and an understanding of Oauth and JWT <— This is a must have
- Understanding of MyBatis, JDBC and SQL
- Experience working with and being able to deploy applications to Tomcat
- Working knowledge of Maven and Docker
- Experience migrating old JDK 7 applications to newer JDKs (14 and onward)
- Understanding of IBM OpenShift platform would be preferred (this one will be harder to find)
