Job Description - IT Support Analyst

We are working with a small Hedge Fund in Chicago who is currently looking for a Support Analyst to join their Infrastructure team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2-5 years of experience. Beyond end user support you will also be part of projects, migrations, enterprise server work including virtual and SAN and helping to automate through Ansible. The ideal person will have a strong apptitude to learn new technology, work well with others in a sometimes stressful environment, have an engaging personality and be able to work with urgency and effeciency.

Qualifications:

-Either 4 year degree or 3+ years of experience

-Strong understanding of Windows operating systems including VDI

-Knowledge of scripting for automation (powershell, vbscript)

-Experience with Ansible or other automated tools is ideal

-Have the ability to work under pressure

-Ability to troubleshoot system and application issues

-Be able to work with urgency and effeciency

You will be exposed to alot of different technologies and projects that most entry level jobs won't provide. This client ideally wants someone out of an environment that required that person to wear multiple hats.
