The End User Services Department has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst, reporting to Manager - Communications and Business Management.

The IT Business Analyst will support the National IT End User Services (EUS) group, which provides enterprise collaboration and endpoint services for end users throughout the Federal Reserve System.This role will work closely with EUS teams to optimize operational productivity and coordinate support activities across the EUS Group. The successful candidate will research and analyze problems of varying complexity, develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations, provide reporting and analysis to assist in executing solutions, and support/coordinate moderately complex projects.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform complex analysis of business issues utilizing established methodology and tools within functional areas.
  • Work withEUS teamsto assess current capabilities, identifycustomer needs and establish requirements, and recommends business process improvements.
  • Manage any processes/logistics that need to be coordinated across EUS and analytical support forEUS-wide activities, including TownHalls and events
  • Administer support processes, including employee onboarding coordination and department reconciliation processes.
  • Provide some complex support and collaboration in completing analysis, providing ad-hoc reports, information or process mapping, and/or alignment of the business and related resources.
  • Develops and designs new business processes and the elaboration and updating of existing business processes.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work independently and with all levels of enterprise staff and management.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills for customers/consumers, business partners and executives.
  • Able to understand theIT strategic plan, principles, and values.
  • Understanding of divisionresponsibilities and,to a lesser degree, those of the other enterprise divisions.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate individual project goals and objectives and understand how they relate to the otherprojects in flight.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize independently. Deadline driven.
  • Experience working with agile teams strongly preferred.
  • Excellent skills in MS Productivity Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Progressive knowledge pertaining to concepts and principles in functional area. General knowledge of department/business lines, Reserve Banks, and / or System operations, policies, procedures and technologies.
  • Communications: Stronginterpersonal, negotiation, creativity, attention to detail, and oral and written communications skills tailored for the intended audience.
  • Responsible for understanding and applying risk management discipline in decision making and contributing to his or her function`s risk management.
  • Works under direction with infrequent checks; follows established methods and clear-cut policy. Makes decisions when general instructions or established methods indicate action to be taken.
  • May workextended hours approximately4 days per month (10-20% of time) to meet deadlines and/or resolve problems.
  • Overnight absences up to 1-2 nights may be occasionally required.
