Our client local to Houston is looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to work on their infrastructure plant related projects. Relevant experience in plant operations, oil, gas, and petroleum industry is a must have. This Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for providing input including in-depth research, analysis, evaluations and assessments, preparation of studies.

With a vision to be the premier liquid natural gas exporter in North America, this client will add natural gas liquefaction and export capabilities to their terminal in Beaumont, TX.

Plant operations experience is required - this position is 100% remote!

Responsibilities:

• Interpret detailed project charters
• Translate technology infrastructure requirements (high-level and functional)
• Create/maintain a detailed project plan (work breakdown structure)
• Assign and coordinate project resources
• Lead the project team by example - from project kickoff to closure
• Initiative-taking communication with sponsors, stakeholders, and team members
• Management of the project scope, deliverables, and timeline
• Management of the materials budget
• Management of the scope change approval process
• Facilitate project closure and lessons learned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• 3+ Years in an Infrastructure Project Manager
• Working knowledge of technical infrastructures and network systems
• Experience with at least one named project management methodology (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
• Full system life cycle perspective and experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Desire and ability to learn
• Ability to lead and manage a team
