We are looking for a HR Data Scientist to join our team in our any of US GHD Hub offices in Buffalo, Houston, Tampa, Harrisburg, Atlanta, Irvine or Phoenix, or can be remote.

Reporting directly to the Global People Operations Leader, your main responsibilities will include to explore/identify trends and patterns in our global workforce data, bringing forward insights that will advise and help drive the GHD's People strategy and priorities. Going beyond traditional reporting, KPI's and analytics, you will:

• Combine and analyze oftentimes large and disparate datasets from GHD's Oracle HCM Cloud platform, the People Shared Services ticketing system, 3rd party employee survey data, external benchmarks and other data sources including Financials, to detect underlying trends that build the foundations for predictive workforce analytics.
• By applying statistical analysis, predictive modelling, data mining and forecasting techniques, focus on revealing the hidden and potentially unexpected data-based insights as to what truly drives or hinders employees' performance, retention and job satisfaction among other measures, identify/expose patterns of workforce and People team efficiency and opportunities
• Produce compelling data visualizations and narratives to advise company strategies
• Collaborate closely with other People Operations team members, with global People team leadership and COE's
• Lead data exploration projects with at times minimal direction
• Seek out support and help while learning
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with R, Python or SPSS, and SQL
• 2 to 3 years of experience in Data Science
• Strong organizational and communication skills
