Job Title: Hadoop/SOLR Senior Developer
Experience Range: 12-15 years
Location : Abu Dhabi


Job Description:
Senior Big Data Engineer Designer/Developer with solid experience developing Hadoop and SOLR modules. Capable of collecting and understanding requirements, define approach for data discovery, and produce working quality modules
 
Professional Experience Required
  • 15+ years of experience in designing, architecting and implementing large scale data processing/data storage/data distribution systems using Hadoop, SOLR and BigInsight
  • Extensive experience working with large data sets with hands-on technology skills to design and build robust Big Data solutions
  • Extensive experience using Open source Hadoop stack
  • Extensive experience using IBM BigInsight stack
  • Should be able to participate with End-users and do requirement gathering and convert into technical documentation
  • Should be able to design complex and high performance architecture
  • Identify the performance bottle-necks and resolve the same
  • Hands-on administration, configuration management, monitoring, performance tuning of Hadoop/Distributed platforms
  • Strong understanding of Big Data Analytics platforms and ETL in the context of Big Data
  • Excellent problem solving, hands-on engineering skills and communication skills
  • Knowledge/experience of cloud computing infrastructure (e.g. Amazon Web Services EC2, Elastic MapReduce)
  • Broad understanding and experience of real-time analytics
