Overview

PK, the experience engineering firm, is actively looking for a Hadoop Developer to join our team as a full-time employee.

Responsibilities

• Define practice, strategies, procedures, and standards for Hadoop.
• Design, build and support data pipelines that are potentially exposed to other teams/applications.

• Leverage Hadoop tools as appropriate to different use cases and scenarios.
• Document design and implementation of data pipelines and usage.

Qualifications

• Excellent design, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

• In depth development skills and expert level understanding of Spark, Java/Scala, Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Shell scripting. Python is added advantage.

• Strong skills in development methodologies (Agile, Continuous Delivery) and programming languages.

• Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms.
