Idexcel‘s client is looking for a Hadoop Bigdata Developer to join their team on a Contract / Contract to Hire basis

Job Title: Hadoop Bigdata Developer
Location: Mclean, VA/Chicago, IL,/Plano, TX/NYC, NY

Responsibilities:
Experience with building and maintaining Big Data and Fast Data applications using Open source software like Spark and Kafka
Experience with developing and deploying applications on Cloud, preferably on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming concepts using languages like Java and Scala

Basic qualifications
Bachelor Degree
At least 3 years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
At least 3 years of experience working on a big data platform
At least 2 years of experience working with unstructured datasets
At least 2 years of experience developing microservices: Python, Java, or Scala
At least 1 year of experience building data pipelines, CICD pipelines, and fit for purpose data stores
Hands on experience with Big Data
Must have experience with Apache Spark,Kafka
Experience with Java or Scala
AWS/Cloud is Must
