This person will be involved in the hands-on development and maintenance of our family of websites, mobile sites, and internal web applications. This role requires someone with at least several years of professional experience with JavaScript and a desire to best optimize web applications to achieve rich and fluid interaction. Experience with JavaScript/React/HTML/CSS is absolutely required and any experience with Node would be a plus. You will be working with technical leads, engineers, designers, business analysts and operations teams to develop dynamic client-side web applications, native mobile applications working on prototyping and developing new ideas and participate in all parts of the lifecycle from research to release

Primary Responsibilities:

• Use a variety of programming languages in order to create user-friendly web pages and native mobile application.

• Work in multidisciplinary team with other professionals such as back-end developers and web designers

• Build high-quality mockups and design different prototypes.

• Provide high-quality graphics and visual elements.

• Optimize our web applications for maximum speed.

• Design mobile-based features

• Always stay consistent with our brand guidelines

• Gather feedback from users and customers.

• Offer suggestions for better solutions to problems.

• Stay abreast of latest and emerging technologies.

• Successfully communicate and work with brand presidents, officers, external contacts, and internal departments to perform responsibilities.

• Use and continue "paperless" document management systems.

• Maintain confidentiality of personal information.

• Interface with others in a professional manner and be a trusted go to person.

Required Attributes:

• Profound knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript

• A high level of proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, React

• Experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system

• Solid experience in using a complex REST API from the client-side

• A solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues, and ways to work around them

• Good knowledge and practical experience of client-side build/config management

• Good knowledge and practical experience of testing tools like Webpack, Jasmine, Karma, etc.

• Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN

• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and Ajax

• Significant experience of debugging using JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console

• Some exposure to Continuous Integration/Delivery pipeline for cloud, including Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, etc.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Self-starter. Ability to work autonomously with little support.

• High computer literacy including strong experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required.

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

• Sense of humor.

Education & Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or relevant field of study preferred

Experience: 3+ years of experience developing and deploying large-scale websites and website content or demonstrated skill level in previous positions
