Job Description:

Our client is searching for a DevOps Engineer to develop and own elements of the Production and Development infrastructure for our consumer facing fitness service. Using your expertise in software build and release systems, you will lead the high quality application delivery to help our users achieve their fitness goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, create, configure, deploy, and maintain automated DevOps solutions for the Forme consumer fitness service
2. Specify and design the automation and streamlining build, test, and deployment phases for continuous integration
3. Help to promote a culture of DevOps excellence across the organization
4. Responsible for device and application builds as well as cloud builds/customization

Experience:

1. 5+ years of experience with implementation of DevOps or CI/CD.
2. Strong experience with deploying and administering Google Cloud Platform/AWS based infrastructure.
3. Solid experience managing Google Cloud Platform/AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
4. Solid working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems. Experience writing Bash, Python scripts or JavaScript
5. Solid working knowledge with databases such as Google BigQuery, PostGres SQL and/or AWS DB’s (RDS, Aurora), etc.
6. Strong understanding of Kubernetes or similar container orchestration software
7. Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
8. Experience managing build & release and configuration management tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Google Cloud Build, Spinnaker, Keel.
