WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • We’re looking for a Senior Recommendation System Analyst to drive the growth and optimization of financial product recommendations across our client’s platform. If you love tackling complex, large-scale analytics challenges, this role could be for you.
  • Optimize the performance of the product recommendation engine from a holistic level - rather than by vertical or by placement
  • Support cross-functional business partners by figuring out how the recommendation system can be used to meet business objectives
  • Predict revenue impact from changes in pricing, underwriting, approval models, and user behavior
  • Work closely with engineering and data science teams to improve the technology and models that drive recommendations
  • Provide feedback to the product and design teams on how changes in the product impact our recommendations and give guidance on how to improve that experience
  • Develop hypotheses and run experiments around what recommendations drive better outcomes for our members
  • Support ongoing analysis and monitoring of revenue funnels across the platform
  • Overseeing A/B experiment setup, execution and reporting across use cases

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • 4+ years of analytics experience and BS/MS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, or Finance
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL
  • 2+ years of experience with A/B testing and/or statistical analysis
  • 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Looker/Tableau for insight synthesis and presentation
  • Fintech, financial services, consulting or a similar strategic or analytical experience
  • Exposure to Python and/or R
  • Foundational understanding of machine learning principals
