Work you'll do

  • Specialize and provide expertise in advanced statistical techniques and concepts
  • Use applications to apply advanced statistical techniques
  • Work with mission analysts to help identify, clean and validate various data sets
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, uniformity and serve as a "Subject Matter Expert"
  • Add interpretive value to data presented or experienced insight into a functional process or issue

The Strategy and Analytics Cross Consulting Group (CCG) is a cohort of client service practitioners who provide cross-functional, enterprise-level data analysis solutions needed to accomplish key policy objectives and make informed decisions. Our CCG practitioners develop advanced analytics products and apply data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data to advance and enable mission outcomes. They also support all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL and from performing analyses to delivery of insights to decision-makers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, statistics or similar field, OR 7 years of comparable work experience
  • Proficient with at least one language for data analysis and predictive modeling, such as R, Python, SAS, or SQL
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Experience with prototype software development including algorithm development and implementation in back end (e.g., Java Spring Boot) or front end (E.g., JS, HTML5, CSS, VUE, React, Bootstrap)
  • Soft skills include communication, teamwork, leadership, conflict management, critical thinking, etc.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employee sponsorship, now or anytime in the future.



Preferred

  • TS/SCI with a polygraph test
