TCI has an immediate need for a Data Modeler / C# Programmer in Louisville, KY. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. Work will be performed as a hybrid local remote situation.

SUMMARY

The Data Modeler / C# Programmer will develop, code and tests modifications to existing applications and systems of moderate complexity. You will work with Business Analysts, Programmer Analysts, and Infrastructure/Support Team members to troubleshoot applications and maintain existing systems and n-tier products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs, implements and maintains relational databases.
• Develops business intelligence (BI) processes, data, interfaces, and interactivity to provide key performance indicators, dashboards, analytics, and decision support software.
• Modifies and maintains reports.
• Provides end-user support on areas of designated support (CP/SP, OneKT, Syteline, etc.).
• Helps departments and users define, develop and document their business requirements and advises departments about possible new or modified applications.
• Builds moderately complex applications and procedures for new and existing systems.
• Designs, develops, installs and upgrades moderately complex new systems or modifications. Trains technical personnel and system users how to use those systems.
  • Writes and upgrades code to enhance functionality and/or performance for moderately complex software programs and applications according to specifications.
  • Designs, runs and monitors software performance tests on new and existing programs to identify errors and isolate modules for improvement and debugging.
  • Trains users how to operate new or modified programs.
  • Fine tunes and maintains existing systems of moderate complexity.
• Designs, implements and maintains relational databases. Accesses, configures, manages and develops some components of SQL.
• Designs, plans, develops, and creates data models and data warehouses to support automated generation of business analytic data.
• Develops, generates and distributes reports of moderately complexity and provides support to users as needed.
• Writes documentation for new systems and modifications to existing systems as needed.
• Provide support as assigned for the on-going operation and maintenance of KY Trailer’s business

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in programming that includes development of moderate to difficult software programs from customer specifications.
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining moderately complex relational databases, data models and data warehouses.
• Competency on Object Oriented Programming using ASP.NET, C# and JQuery.
• Knowledge of SQL Server 2008R2+, Management Studio SQL Server Analysis Services and SQL Server Reporting Services.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of ERP and Service Solutions preferred.
